Not much information about the artist or company responsible for issuing these boxes is known. The art shows a somewhat drunk badger holding a vase of liquor and raising a cup, toasting. The main ideograms read "public bar" and "Fujiya". Badgers are very common animals in Japan and hold nocturnal habits.
