One of a selection of portraits of urban life, by Moriz Jung, The Man of Letters portrays an intellectual sitting in a café. We can see a table with writing material in front of him, as he sits with a bored look. This is a particularly amazing work by Jung, who applied beautiful color combinations and patterns to the couch, the man's socks, and even his hand.
